Grid Committee

The Grid Committee focuses on electricity grid policies relevant to the delivery and operation of renewable connections in Ireland. The work of this Committee encompasses a range of issues such as the connection offer process, the delivery of shallow grid connections, the development of the transmission system including network reinforcements and smart grid solutions, operational requirements and rules for connected renewable generators and the development of hybrid connection policy.  

• The chair of this committee is Margaret Nee (Statkraft)
• Working Groups include: Enduring Connection Policy, Hybrid Plants (FlexTech), Grid Delivery, Grid Code and Grid Capacity.
