Markets Committee

The Markets Committee is one of the main working committees within Wind Energy Ireland (WEI) and it is one of the founding committees of the association. It is run by a chair from the WEI membership and the committee reports to the WEI Board and Council. The Markets Committee looks at a range of energy market issues and risks, as well as working to achieve sustainable routes to market for the wind industry. These issues are tackled through a range of working groups. In 2020 the WEI Markets Committee merged with the RenewableNI Markets group and the committee now tackles market related issues in both Ireland and Northern Ireland.
