Ireland Pavilion - WindEurope Madrid

Ireland may sit on Europe’s western edge, but we are at the centre of the continent’s energy future — a global leader in onshore wind with some of the world’s best offshore resources.

The Ireland Pavilion – Stand 10-B90 – will be our home at the WindEurope Annual Event 2026 (21–23 April) at IFEMA Madrid, bringing together Irish policymakers, industry leaders and key partners from across the sector.

Here you will meet Government ministers, senior officials in key departments, decision-makers in EirGrid, the National Maritime College and other vital State agencies alongside the companies driving Ireland’s wind industry forward.

We’re going to Madrid to speak with one voice, to showcase our success and to find European partners with whom we will work to build an Irish electrostate, powered by clean, affordable, wind energy.

Ireland currently has more onshore wind under construction than at any point in the past five years, with another auction due later this year. Offshore projects are now emerging from the planning system, while a new taskforce led by our Taoiseach – Prime Minister – is accelerating delivery.
